Today I practicing calibrating the machine. To do this I took the calibration tile that had several samples on it (as seen below) and ran it through the HD Prime.
The machine came with both the calibration samples and a list of values I should get. Knowing that I tested sample 920005-01 I could then compare my results and the expected results.
It appears all of my results fall within the range of what was expected. If my results did not match up then I would have to call up XOS to recalibrate the machine. Once my reference materials come in I will run through this procedure.
